BNW Companion 2-second shot starts out looking south down the east side
of Church Street, then swings up and slightly right to show burning T1.
i'm sure i can identify the Emigrant Savings Bank window style in the
right margin of the tilt-up.
This is a forward of an old find related to Gedon Naudet's location for
the Brave New World shot (aka
BNW aka Naudet 1st Hit Reaction Shot). It
is more footage from the same camera maybe one minute later. It's too late
to show the initial fireball, nor even the stalked tan-gray mushroom
cloud which lingered in view at this location for perhaps 30 seconds as
it drifted (intact) SE.
Gidiot = Gedeon Naudet.
Perpfer's Ride = Joseph Pfeifer's ride from Church-Lispenard (Alleged Odor
of Alleged Gas site) to WTC-1. (with Jules Naudet and unnamed driver
whose face we never see)
Since the time I wrote the mail below, I have become 100% certain that
this location is
east side of Church Street
between Park Place and Murray Street
just like Brave New World/Reaction/BNW:

This newer find is from the same location, but, IT LOOKS SOUTH AND WEST,
UP TOWARD WTC, INSTEAD OF LOOKING NORTH AND WEST TO THE WEST HALF OF
THE CHURCH-MURRAY INTERSECTION.
Emigrant Saving Bank with its identifiable window style, is just
barely visible on the RIGHT in this SOUTH-gazing clip; it is the same as
the LEFT foreground building in the NORTH-gazing BNW/Reaction vid.

The clip has never been excerpted, so you'll need to have the dvd or
someone to excerpt it for you. (I have NO video nor web skills, sorry,
I'm just eyes ears mouth and the rest is all thumbs.)
Offered in further corroboration of the BNW analysis and because Ron jogged
my memory with his suggestion to Rob to photograph Gedeon's location
but looking toward where WTC was.
I've never calculated just how far down Church Gedeon was from the
actual Church-Murray intersection. Maybe about 75 to 150 feet,
Nico? Certainly closer to Murray Street than to Park Place, right?

This is an odd Gidiot shot from the street, of T1 burning, thrown in to
the middle of Perpfer's Ride, when they would have us believe Gidiot was
still taking a shit or something at the firehouse. (He sure wasn't
filming the exodus from firehouse to WTC, and it sure was worth filming, so
I guess they expect us to assume he was taking a shit.)
I think it is the view that the Brave New World people had!
I think I can link them using the building which tqkes up the right side
of the screen in the BNW Companion shot.
It also requires tying in the wastebasket, street rubble, police tape
and scaffolding, from Gidiot's Airplane Parts segment, and from
slightly earlier in Gidiot's post-second-hit Church St. footage.
I think the shot in the subject line is Church somewhere between Vesey
and Murray. I think it is what the people in the Classic BNW shot saw.
I think Gidiot shot BNW and then tilted up and gave us this shot.
The placement is anachronistic. We are not supposed to think Gidiot
was anywhere near this close to WTC during Pfeifer's Ride, which took
like "two minutes" (after simply watching the first hit for maybe
one
minute).
That's probably my stronger point, the hard-to-believe timing of the shot.
But mostly for now I am just awed at my own realization that I'm seeing
the sight of the towers as the people in the BNW clip saw it.
